Katie & Chris * Hamptons * The first of May

Here is the ‘full peek’ of Katie and Chris’s beautiful Hampton’s wedding. Katie devoted herself to this wedding and it showed. The lovely couple were married in the same tiny historic chapel that Katie’s parents and had rose petals thrown at the procession to match what occurred at her parent’s wedding. Then it was off in the town’s trolley to the beach with Hunter boots and umbrellas in tow. It was a special day for a sweet pair…

A week ago, I was asked to collaborate with a handful of talented and creative ladies at the fabulous Lovely Bride in the West Village. It was such a pleasure to work with Ami of Elizabeth Anne Designs, Cyd of The Sweetest Occasion, Sierra & Juliet of Poppies & Posies, Jackie of Merci New York, and all those who lended beautiful things to photograph. I heart Matt and Blair. They have been such a treat to work with and are just the sweetest pair. Their wedding day was full of personal stylish details and people who adore them. A neighborhood little girl even blew bubbles for them. They chose Housing Works Bookstore for their reception where all proceeds go toward a non-profit organization. Matt’s mother illustrated book themes from their favorite childhood books in place of table numbers and library cards filled in for seating assignment. Welcome back from the Mexican Riveria, Newlyweds…

Cherry Blossom Couple Shoot…

I had the rare treat of cherry blossoms coupled with Rickey & Caitlyn this last Friday at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. We stalked the cherry blossoms for weeks awaiting the perfect day and it didn’t disappoint. We also had the assistance of the lovely Stephanie Cunningham, who you may remember from her beautiful wedding last fall, as she styled the shoot for us. Stephanie will be graduating in a few short weeks and has been interning at Martha Stewart Weddings. If anyone needs a budding young planner send me an email and I will connect you. The day was gorgeous, the couple perfection and I think that makes for a spectacular Friday…
