Here is the ‘full peek’ of Katie and Chris’s beautiful Hampton’s wedding. Katie devoted herself to this wedding and it showed. The lovely couple were married in the same tiny historic chapel that Katie’s parents and had rose petals thrown at the procession to match what occurred at her parent’s wedding. Then it was off in the town’s trolley to the beach with Hunter boots and umbrellas in tow. It was a special day for a sweet pair…
I am holding off for another week on posting recent weddings for my new blog/website reveal. It is silly how excited I am. In the meantime, I am going to post a sneak peek of Katie & Chris’ gorgeous Hampton wedding. Enjoy…
I heart Matt and Blair. They have been such a treat to work with and are just the sweetest pair. Their wedding day was full of personal stylish details and people who adore them. A neighborhood little girl even blew bubbles for them. They chose Housing Works Bookstore for their reception where all proceeds go toward a non-profit organization. Matt’s mother illustrated book themes from their favorite childhood books in place of table numbers and library cards filled in for seating assignment. Welcome back from the Mexican Riveria, Newlyweds…

Clint and Lacey wed on a very, and I mean very, rainy October 24th. They recently relocated to Manhattan and wanted a very New York City feel to their photos. The rain limited our options, especially for Lacey in her stunning dress, but we worked magic. I took them into Eisenberg’s Deli, one of the oldest delis in NYC, and love the results. The couple hired me to photograph portraits and the ceremony. Then they sprinted off to get dry and celebrate at Fig and Olive Wine Bar. Clint and Lacey beamed whenever within eyesight of each other…adorable and inspiring.
I am playing catch-up and skipping to Mike and Melissa. Melissa and I had an instant connection in that we have the same first and last name. She was an instant kindred spirit. They wed at one of my favorite new venues for small weddings in the city, Hotel Giraffe. I met Mike for the first time on the wedding day and he spent the entire day beaming at his new bride. They had such wonderful chemistry together and it oozes from the photos. This includes my favorite cake eating sequence as of yet.
Jamie and Joju wed on September 19th at the Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Seton and the beautiful Bayards. When I arrived at the Ritz Carlton where Jamie was preparing, I entered the most peaceful ‘getting ready’ room. The only sounds came from college football stats being thrown around by Jamie’s passionate bridesmaids. Jamie was stunning and looked like she walked off an old Hollywood set. Due to unexpected wedding day set backs, we did not get to take couple shots until there was only about ten minutes of natural light available. I wanted to give them something really special despite being in a very low light situation so I came up with the spinning series below. I feel like it fits them perfectly, elegant and gentle.
